X-ray absorption fine structure study of the formation of the highly dispersed PdO over ZSM-5 and the structural change of Pd induced by adsorption of NO
Article Abstract:
Research designed to identify the genesis and structure of active Pd species and to highlight the role of acid sites is presented. The structure and oxidation state of Pd are very sensitive to the nature of support and the adsorption of NO or catalytic reaction.

Regulation of the dispersion of PdO through the interaction with acid sites of zeolite studied by extended X-ray absorption fine structure
Article Abstract:
The structure of Pd interacted with acid sites of ZSM-5 by using extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) is studied. A novel method to regulate the degree of dispersion through the acid-base interaction between acid sites of zeolite and basic metal oxide is discussed.

Energy-dispersive XAFS studies on the spontaneous dispersion of PdO and the formation of stable Pd clusters in zeolities
Article Abstract:
Spontaneous dispersion and clustering process of Pd are measured by means of the energy-dispersive EXAFS method. It is concluded that the crystal structure and acid sites of zeolites has profound influences on the dynamic behavior and the genesis of Pd clusters of Pd clusters with various structures.
