Dow Corning sets its own path for systems management success
Article Abstract:
Dow Corning Corp is implementing a series of point solutions that defy existing framework systems management packages. The plan was laid by a 25- member global competency group led by Don Southwell that aims at an effective and flexible system to detect snags even before Dow Corning's systems break down. The company gained a 'Best Practices in Enterprise Management' award for the systems management solution which it also plans to roll out in its facilities in Asia, South America, Australia and Europe.
