How the Japanese Suppliers Intend to Meet the 1984 OA Market
Article Abstract:
There is a continued growth and expansion in the Japanese office automation equipment market. Japan maintains the leadership position in the supply of office automation equipment. An estimated 451 billion yen or an 8.5 per cent increase is anticipated for the output of office equipment in 1983. This growth is attributed to such products as copiers, facsimiles, office and personal computers and word processors. Network systems are contributing to the demand and expansion of office automation equipment. A qualitative and quantitative expansion of office automation equipment is expected for 1984. Several companies that are focusing upon the expansion of office automation equipment include Ricoh, Casio Computer and Epson. There are photographs and descriptions of office automation equipment.
