Hitachi sizes up projector market with models that re-size
Article Abstract:
Hitachi Ltd. emphasizes ease of use and compatibility with various image sources with its CP series of LCD projectors. The line is available in two models: the Super VGA-compatible CP-L850, which was released in 1997, and the XGA-compatible CP-X950, which was introduced in April 1998. The CP-X950 features the Fine Re-Sizing function, which permits users to expand images to full-screen size without compromising image quality. The function also allows the CP-X950 to deliver true XGA, Super XGA, Super VGA and VGA images. Brightness is at 550 lumens (ANSI), allowing the projector to be used even in brightly-lit rooms.
