Matsushita introduces small, lightweight, inexpensive DVD-RAM drives

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd's latest DVD-RAM drives are 20% cheaper than their predecessors. The LF-D102JD (Y79,800), the LF-D102JA (Y79,800) and the LF-D103JD (Y72,800) drives conform with SCSI-2 specifications. The LF-D102JD and LF-D102JA, which are installed externally, are 60% lighter and 70% smaller than their predecessors. The LF-D103DJ is a pre-installed unit.
