Memo: Reducing Health Costs
Article Abstract:
Provoked by escalating health care costs, Work in America Institute Inc. sponsored a meeting in early 1985 in an effort to come to grips with the problem. It was generally agreed that both labor and management have an equal interest in keeping costs down without giving up the quality of health care at work. According to the president of the institute, corporations pay an estimated twenty-five per cent of America's medical bills.
