The Government Office: GSA Establishes Prototype Institute
Article Abstract:
A National Institute for the Application of Information Technology has been established by the General Services Administration (GSA). The creation of the Institute was triggered by the fact that executives fresh out of brief computer-literacy courses knew very little about how to apply what they learned in the workaday world. The Institute plans a different approach structured around the detailed examination of actual government case histories which illustrate the value of information and information technology.
