Several Federal government agencies are considering installing ergonomically designed furniture. The installation measures are expected to improve productivity as well as decrease computer-related health complaints. Among agencies taking action are the General Services Administration, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Defense Logistics Services Center, and the Air Force Logistics Center.

Article Abstract:
For the National Technical Information Service (NTIS), office automation has resulted in improved communications and a morale boost for employees. A video display terminal is provided for every two employees. Managers equipped with the Apple Lisa desktop computer report using the device at least once a week.
