Training and Education: The Value in Computer-Based Training
Article Abstract:
Computer-based training can be used by companies and educational institutions that are having difficulty keeping abreast of the new technologies. Advantages of computer-assisted instruction include flexibility, individualization, immediate feedback, and the ability to create simulations. Disadvantages include keeping the software current, scheduling learning sessions, deficiencies in the software, and that some people learn better from other people than from machines.
