Ameritech chooses CustomerQ
Article Abstract:
The Small Business and Consumer Services Units of Chicago, IL-based telecommunications provider Ameritech Corp have opted to use Quintus' CustomerQ help-desk software for their support solution. CustomerQ will be used by 8,000 customer representatives who work for both units and are located in 30 offices throughout Ameritech's five-state service territory. The software will bolster the operations of Ameritech's system of network computers which field thousands of calls monthly and handle change management, problem tracking and defect tracking.

Pacific Bell selects IQWeb
Article Abstract:
Pacific Bell Internet has adopted the IQWeb product developed by Advantage kbs Inc to bolster its Internet World Wide Web-based customer support activities. Pacific Bell Internet offers a broad variety of Internet services to more than 100,000 subsrcibers in California. It will use IQWeb to build a knowledge base that will provide customers with a search tool for troubleshooting their own problems online. The use of IQWeb is part of the company's overall plan to transform data and information-based solutions to knowledge-based solutions.
