Windows CE key to Casio's strategy for palm computers in U.S
Article Abstract:
Casio Computer Company Ltd of Japan noted that its Windows CE-based, color LCD Cassiopeia E-100 personal digital assistant (PDA) has captured a large share of the US market since its launch in May 1999. The Cassiopeia E-100 is also 50% faster and has a considerably larger memory capacity than the previous Cassiopeia model. These features alone have resulted in Casio's PDA creating a new market of its own that is distinct from the market for conventional palm-sized computers.
