Joseph Gray has resigned as president of AMN Television to assume the post of CEO at REVShare Inc. The latter company has bought the revenue sharing per inquiry 800Web platform and 800Webmall trademarks and patents owned by AMN. Gray said the time has come to take the 800Web platform to the rest of the per inquiry and Internet electronic commerce industry. He developed the 800Web model at AMN Television as a means of highlighting product makers' Web sites at the call-to-action of their per inquiry DRTV spots.

Thane makes another international move

Thane Inc has launched its newest division, Thane Direct Canada Inc, at the Electronic Retailing Assn's 2000 Conference and Exhibition. The unit was established to be responsible for bringing all forms of direct response television marketing in Canada as well as nondirect distribution through retail, credit card, syndication and catalogs.
