Dealing with e-mail change of address
Article Abstract:
Marketers can deal with changes in e-mail address in a fairly simple manner. The first step is to collect all e-mail addresses that are returned from a house file mailing and match these with their corresponding postal addresses. A postcard mailing should then be developed once all the correct contact information has been gathered. Marketers can also provide incentives to individuals, who are to be notified that their e-mail addresses are no longer current, when they provide updated information.
