Campaign promotes new FaxSav service

FaxSav, a network services company based in Edison, NJ, has launched an integrated marketing campaign, valued at $2 million, to promote a new technology that allows users to send and receive fax without leaving their desks. The marketing campaign will be carried out through direct mails, print advertisements and the Internet. The marketing campaign, which targets information technicians of the 25,000 Fortune 500 firms, was launched to and inform and educate companies about the benefits of using FaxSav's new service.

General Motors' Onstar division call center can now be accessed by a newly installed communications equipment in select GM vehicles. The call center provides emergency service, convenience service and roadside assistance. One of the services provided is GPS-based vehicle tracking, which can be useful in tracking and identifying the location of stolen vehicles. The tracking device can also be helpful for the division in contacting the nearest emergency service providers.
