Catalina to partake in SkyGo study

St Petersburg, FL-based Catalina Marketing Corp is participating in the first comprehensive wireless marketing study of SkyGo. The study is aimed at testing the effectiveness of its wireless direct marketing model. SkyGo has issued over 1,000 Internet-enabled phones to qualified consumer participants in Boulder, CO. The firms will develop and deliver direct wireless marketing campaigns with the aim of attracting new userrs and increasing the usage of ValuPage, the online promotions offering of SuperMarkets Online, Catalina MKarketing's online division.

UAccess lets consumers do the calling
Article Abstract:
Permission-based marketing company UAccess will introduce a new telephone and Internet program that allow consumers to call the marketers themselves if they want hear about new product and service offerings. The program, which is currently being tested in the area of Chicago, IL, requires consumers to provide their names, address and areas of interests in order to receive an identification number, which will be used to access a personal voicemail account where they can hear marketing offers from national and local adverstisers.

Mailing gives movers online alternative

Directory Dividends, a Devon, PA-based direct marketer that targets movers, has launched a new Website, www.newmover.com, that features targeted online offers from advertisers. Movers who receive a welcome package and phone book from the company are directed to the website. The mailings include a personal access code by which movers are able to access the offers on the website.
