Coolsavings launches 'next generation' FSI

Coolsavings.com, based in Chicago, IL, in May 2001 introduced an online promotional vehicle, called Sales Circulars, that will allow advertisers better segment and track the behavior of customers. Sales Circulars, which is said as more effective that traditional free-standing inserts because of its targeting and tracking capabilities, drives traffic into traditional retailers and grocery stores and helps online retailers raise catalog and online sales.

ShipXact debuts new tracking system

ShipXact.com, a provider of e-commerce solutions, launched a new technology in late Aug 2000 that will help online retailers improve their delivery of merchandise. The new TrackXact system is designed to enable customers to process orders and inventory and track them through the shipping process. It will also be integrated into the ShipXact's fullfilment services to reduce paperwork for some of the services.
