Cruisers Yachts: The Oconto, Wis., company, still defying challenges, celebrates 50 years of boat building

Cruisers Yachts is celebrating 50 years of boat building. During this period, the company has seen many ups and downs, faced challenges and survives well, and is looking forward to the positive upturn in the nation's economy and stock market in the coming months. Primarily a family enterprise, the company was sold to Tom Lisle and Terry Bogart when Roy Thompson retired, and was later bought by K.C.Stock when it went bankrupt during the 1990's recession. Stock renamed it Cruisers Yachts and has expanded the business to its present day position.
