Fall mailing plans look promising

Most mailers are optimistic about the mailing plans of the US Postal Service (USPS) in fall of 1998. The plans, carried out on Jul. 17, 1998, aim to outline a list of delivery guidelines based on mailers' entry points, upgrade equipment at troubled facilities, and make communication between the USPS and mailers and printers more free flowing. Anthony Ruggerio, director of worldwide postal and distribution at the Franklin Mint, Franklin Center, PA, also lauded the move of Postmaster General William J. Henderson to appoint Clarence Lewis as chief operating officer.
