Ikea drops 1 million postcards for promo

Ikea has rolled out its Ikea Spring Forward Event promotion through a one- off postcard mail drop to selected 1 million names on its mailing list in the US. The postcard serves two purposes, namely, to drive traffic at its information-only Web site and to increase consumer spending which averages at $90 per trip at Ikea's 13 stores across the US. The promo offers $20 off on purchases of $100. It is not valid for mail or telephone orders.
