MarsMusic debuts online music lessons

MarsMusic.com has introduced a guitar lessons channel to add to its musical instrument and accessories site, www.marsmusic.com. The lessons consist of video files that can be downloaded for $11.95 per session. A package deal worth five lessons is also being offered for $47.95. for hte Internet lessons, Mars Music is using London, UK-based audioworks' Learn2Play technology. The company is expected to roll out lesson plans for saxophone, trumpet, flute, clarinet, trombone, bass and piano in the future.

Skyjet.com debuts auctions for seats on charter flights

Washington-based Skyjet.com has launched in Jun 2000 a Web site that holds auctions for seats on charter airplanes. The site, called MySkyjet.com, allows consumers to bid for a seat on charter flights that have empty seats on their return trips because of one-way client orders. It was established after Skyjet signed agreements with several private chater airplane operators for such service arrangement.

MarketWatch.com debuts personal finance courses

MarketWatch.com has started offering personal financial courses at its Web site, which are intended to serve as customer relationship management features and upsell opportunities. The company estimates the cost of the courses to be about $40 per class.
