NMMA boost funding to expand PR campaign for Grow Boating
Article Abstract:
The board of the National Marine Manufacturers Assn (NMMA) has set aside $500,000 to finance its Grow Boating campaign. The campaign is a broadened public relations effort and not an advertising campaign. At a meeting in Miami, FL, in February, the board voted to spend $1.5 million to $2 million annually for the next two to three years. NMMA officials are deliberating how to source the funds in view of plans to lower the scope of this year's International Marine Trades Exhibition & Conference.
