NRF: Holiday retail sales will grow 4.5%

The National Retail Federation forecasts holiday retail sales to grow by 4.5% compared to last year. The economic and political concerns have not had a major effect on holiday spending. Home merchandise, electronics and fashion sales will be even better.

Bigfoot study: overall delivery, click through rates up for holiday

A survey done by Bigfoot shows that email delivery rates have reached 94 per cent for media and retail markets. Financial services reported a 91 per cent delivery in fourth quarter of the year 2004.
