Printing firm expects newest expansion to spark revenue

K/P Corp of San Ramon, CA, has announced plans to expand and upgrade its printing facility located in Salt Lake City, UT, its third major expansion in 2000. The company, a printing and direct mailer, has already completed previous expansion projects in San Leandro, CA, and Atlanta, GA. K/P, whose latest expansion will add another 29,000 sq-ft to its production capabilities, said that the additional capacity is aimed at addressing the changing needs of its clients.

PIP Printing, PrintNation.com make deal

PrintNation.com's line of print and design equipment are now available through PIP Printing's Web site, PIPNet.com. The Web site exclusively offers PIP print service franchisees the print equipment and supplies usually sold through PrintNation's Web site. PIP Printing of Agoura Hill, CA, has more than 450 stores in the US and the UK. The deal allows both companies to order supplies without having to build or maintain a supplies procurement infrastructure.

Travelocity opens third call center

Travelocity.com has recently opened a customer service center in Clintwood, VA, marking the online travel agent's third such facility. The travel site also operates customer call centers in San Antonio, and Sacramento, CA, which both opened in Oct 2001. In total, the Web-based company, which is headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, operates 1,300 customer service seats.
