Boo.com debuts first catalog with 50,000 on mailing list

Boo.com Ltd, the London, England-based global e-tailer of clothing and sportwear, has released its first catalog in Apr 2000. The catalog, which contains 33 product offerings, will be mailed to 50,000 individuals in 15 nations around the world through mid-May 2000. Boo.com's launch of the catalog, which include names of individuals who expressed their interest in the products online, is aimed at gauging its brand's online and offline appeal as well as increasing online sales.

iTurf, Delia's to merge

New York, NY-based Internet online direct marketing service iTurf Inc and New York, NY-based direct marketing services provider Delia's Inc agreed to merge in Aug 2000. The deal is subject to shareholder approval and closing conditions, and is expected to be completed during fiscal 4th qtr 2000. Both companies are part of a network of 10 World Wide web properties and catalogs that annually reach 70 million consumers aged 13-24 years old. The combined entity will be called Delia's iTurf Inc.
