Solid start for 'That '70s Show' Webcast
Article Abstract:
TV production company Carsey-Werner is using its Web site to broadcast a series of 10-minute infomercials for the 'That '70s Show.' The Webcast is shown three times a night, coinciding with the airing of the program in the three time zones. The Webcast for a particular episode has been done in such a way that it includes scenes on how that episode was shot including behind-the-scenes antics, rehearsals and interviews. It proved beneficial for the show since viewers increased from 2,200 to 14,428 daily after the first Webcast was shown.
