Vivisimo starts search engine based on clustering

Vivisimo, a 4-year-old company in Pittsbury, founded by computer scientists from Carnegie Mellon, has launched a search engine that uses clustering technology to organize results. Clusty.com is the consumer search engine built by the company that features tabs to enable searching of shopping, news, blogs, images, online encyclopedia and gossip sites other than Web search.
