Vivisimo starts search engine based on clustering

Vivisimo, a 4-year-old company in Pittsbury, founded by Carnegie Mellon, has launched a search engine that uses clustering technology to organize results. Clusty.com is the consumer search engine built by the company and the technology is sold to corporations. Clusty has tabs to search shopping, news, blogs, images, online encyclopedia and gossip sites other than Web search.
