Westvaco, Httprint join forces

Internet print production company Httprint has formed an alliance with Westvaco Corp that will allow the latter's customers access to Httprint's Web site. The service will allow Westvaco customers to coordinate direct mail projects with Httprint's production managers and Westvaco sales representatives. The alliance will streamline the direct mail production process for customers who buy their envelopes from Westvaco but rely on other companies for direct mail campaigns.

BET portal will promote BMG artists
Article Abstract:
BET Interactive has formed an alliance with BMG Entertainment, in which the former will promote BMG's artists on its Web site. BET Interactive has 450,000 members, mostly African-Americans from ages 18 to 49, who have access to BET.com and 360HipHop.com. It will showcase three BMG artists and will let members order their upcoming albums in advance before they are sold in music stores. The campaign will include e-mail alerts and e- mail newsletters.
