General Motors Corp's 1990-1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera models were originally available in the two-door coupe, four-door sedan and four-door wagon body styles. In 1990, the S and International Series trim levels were offered for the two-door body style; the base, S, SL and International Series trim levels were offered for the four-door body style while the S and SL trim levels were offered for the Ciera Cruiser Wagon. This generation provides advantages in terms of acceleration with the V-6 engine, quietness and passenger/cargo room.

General Motors Corp's (GM) 1990-1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme models feature a firm, sports-oriented base suspension which provide good handling and stability but generates noticeable harshness over rough roads. The FE3 suspension in the 1990-1994 International Series body styles is even stiffer. However, braking with standard four-wheel disc and anti-lock brakes is good. Despite all the changes in this generation, the Cutlass Supreme nevertheless has apparently never been able to catch up with the competition even within GM.
