1994-99 Dodge Ram Pickup
Article Abstract:
DaimlerChrysler Corp's 1004-1999 Dodge Ram Pickup models feature a new, bold design and are impressive. Overall, they are as accommodating and refined as any competing full-sized pickup from General Motors or Ford, and can be equipped with V-10 engines. Acceleration is more than adequate with the 5.2-liter V-8, which delivers an average fuel economy of 14.4 mpg. However, V-6 engines are not recommended in these models when heavy- duty work is required.

1990-96 Ford F-150/250 Pickup
Article Abstract:
Gasoline V-8 engines are more ideal in Ford Motor Co's 1990-1996 F-150/250 models, rather than the six-cyliner engine, because of their capacity to deliver impressive acceleration and passing ability. Ford trucks may be blown around in heavy crosswinds, but they otherwise hold the road well even with an empty cargo box. The F-Series is outstanding compared to other pickups of its class in terms of room, power, payload and trailer- towing ability.
