1995-98 Ford Windstar
Article Abstract:
Startup acceleration with the 3.8-liter engine is adequate in Ford Motor Co's 1995-1998 Windstar models, but these cars fail to be truly lively and are relatively heavy vehicles. Body lean is moderate and the tires grip well in spirited cornering. Windstars have not proven to be quite as successful as Ford had hoped, but front-drive Windstars equal or surpass DaimlerChrysler Corp's minivans in key areas of performance and accommodations. Thus, they are well worth trying out.

1993-97 GEO Prizm
Article Abstract:
General Motors Corp's 1993-1997 GEO Prizm models share their basic design with the Toyota Corolla as did the previous GEO generation, but they are slightly longer than their predecessors. Interior space has also expanded slightly. Only one body style went on sale, namely, the four-door sedan. This generation provides advantages in terms of air bags for the 1994-1997 models, ride, fuel economy, acceleration with the 1.8-liter engine, quietness and optional anti-lock brakes.
