Analogue handportables
Article Abstract:
Twenty analogue handportable cellular telephones were evaluated. Four models were selected as best buys in this category. The NEC P800 and its newer version, the NEC P8, were recommended for their general array of features, the large 40-character display, and the power of the standard battery, which offers 100 minutes of use and 27 hours of standby time. The BT Jade II was recommended for its battery power and display size, both of which were the same as the NEC models. The Nokia 232 was recommended as a good all round performer.
