Child seats: Fitting services exposed
Article Abstract:
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) investigation revealed inaccurate advice and fitting of the child car seat at some shops there by endangering child's life. Kevin Clinton, Head of RoSPA believes that parents find it difficult to fit child seats properly but if stores give correct advice that would matter much safer.

The three best buy child car seats weighing up to 13 kg are the Britax costing 90 pounds sterling, the Maxi-Cosi costing 60 pounds sterling and the Mothercare costing 40 pounds sterling. Many child safety seats do not provide adequate protection for children during car crashes. Older seats, even those rated highly in previous tests, may no longer meet safety standards.
