Copy duplicators range in price from around 3,000 pounds sterling to just under 9,000 pounds sterling. A best buy in the desktop sector is the Risograph TR1510, priced at 3,950 pounds sterling. The machine is able to scan in from B4-size originals and has a maximum print speed of 130 copies per minute. Features include programmable printing, a 10-sheet document feeder and a paper supply of 1,000 sheets. Other copier duplicators are evaluated.

Productivity test results

Article Abstract:

High volume copiers were divided into two categories before undergoing a series of tests designed to measure their productivity. The first category includes copiers with a speed of 50-86 copies per minute and the second group incorporates higher copy volumes. Tests were designed to assess productivity, reduction and enlargement capabilities, and performance. Details and results of the tests are presented.

Colour copiers

Article Abstract:

A range of colour copying machines ranging in price from 995 pounds sterling to 95,000 pounds sterling are evaluated. The Fuji Pictrostat 300 machine costs 8,850 pounds sterling and uses photographic technology. The Canon CLC-800 machine costs 19,400 pounds sterling and can hold up to 1500 sheets of paper.
