Silver-tongue sleuthing
Article Abstract:
Liars often make gestures which seem to be false, such as continuously smiling. Their voices may be slightly raised or they may seem reluctant to have eye contact. If a liar is carefully observed very slight facial changes may be detected. Liars are often caught out because they fail to keep to the same story. Some 5% of people are very good at lying and believing them can have devastating results. German Chancellor Adolf Hitler convinced British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain he wanted peace. A liar may be successful when the recipient wants to believe the lie.
