How OA Suggestion Programs
Article Abstract:
The use of office automation in employee suggestion programs has advantages of speeding the timeliness of communication between management and suggestor and increases the accuracy of tracking ideas through the various phases. A survey by the National Association of Suggestion Systems shows that use of automated systems, including word processing together with computer-based systems, is increasing in popularity for administering employee suggestion programs. The ease of administration of suggestion programs is thought to promote an atmosphere that encourages employee participation.

A survey of some 100 funeral directors in the UK shows that the total charge for a burial or cremation averages between 600 pounds sterling and 1,000 pounds sterlings, although prices vary depending on the quality of the coffin. Coffin charges have a big effect on the final bill and reach more than 400 pounds sterling. Most of the UK's funeral directors belong to the National Association of Funeral Directors which obliges its members to display price lists, although many seem to ignore the code of practice.
