Pharmacists in crisis

Pharmacists in the United Kingdom are failing to give out correct medication or advise, according to a Consumers' Association survey. Approximately 30 drugs are now no longer given on prescription but are being sold off the shelf in pharmacies across the country. The Consumers' Association says that no more medicines should be added to the pharmacists' list, and that pharmacists must prove that they are providing an accurate service before safety can be relied upon.
