The curse of the superbug

Hospitals around the world are meant to be places where people are cured of their ailments but in the UK the hospital may be the place to catch an infection or what is known in medical terms as hospital-associated infections (HIAs). Understaffing in many hospitals may be one of the main reasons for terrible hygiene that gives rise to viruses, known as superbugs, which are near impossible to treat.
