Talking sense
Article Abstract:
Speech recognition software uses the voice to perform commands and functions which would normally be done using a mouse and keyboard. The three main components of speech-recognition systems are a speaker model, a language model and a vocabulary/dictionary. Most software uses discrete speech, but many speech recognition software packages have moved towards the use of natural speech. There are a range of products available, including those aimed at niche market, and those aimed at mobile business users. Large amounts of processing power and memory are required for speech recognition systems to operate efficiently, and software is sometimes bundled with other popular software suites.

Article Abstract:
Creating a computer network can bring companies a range of advantages. In particular, a computer network offers the ability to share information. Other advantages include communicating with colleagues and providing easy Internet access for staff. Network installation also permits companies to create their own internal Internets, called intranets. It is not advisable for a company to consider installing its own network unless a member of staff is a fully qualified Novell Certified Engineer or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
