The cost of living
Article Abstract:
A financial priority for young, single people is to take out income protection insurance to protect their income incase they become ill. This is needed if the employer only pays statutory sick pay for 28 weeks. They also need to get into a pension scheme. People with families could consider saving for higher education costs, increasing their life insurance, paying off some of the mortgage and taking out private medical insurance. Retired people may think about inheritance planning, reducing their private medical insurance costs and also whether to spend some of their savings.
