An object-oriented knowledge-based approach for formulating applied general equilibrium models
Article Abstract:
The use of the object-oriented, knowledge-based method in developing Applied General Equilibrium (AGE) models is proposed and demonstrated. This approach is widely known for its successful applications in such areas as information system analysis, engineering and data modeling. A frame representation of the primary objects in AGE models for international commerce is discussed.
