Antitrust reform in Russia: discussion agenda and format
Article Abstract:
The discussion on antitrust regulations and the possible use of new institutional theory to lay the foundation for developing effective antitrust measures is presented with a hope for constructive continuation of the discussion and invite all those interested to take part, primarily top officials at the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Antimonopoly Policy. Antitrust regulations are focused along with the relationship of liberal and institutional approaches to economic policy.

The two camps debating the subject of Russia's political and economic stability, which facilitates discussion of medium and long term economic policy are discussed. To solve the problem of unfair wealth distribution in society, creation of strategic joint enterprises of the public and private sectors, which acts as the core of a program for knowledge-based development in Russia, is required.

Does Russia have a chance in the global economy?
Article Abstract:
The results and prospects of the Russian economic transformation of the past decade against the background of world trends at the beginning of 21st century are presented. It is stated that Russia certainly has a chance in the global economy as no other country has undertaken such energetic efforts to modernize in the global postindustrial period.
