Article Abstract:
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MSAS) has much to learn from other established financial regulatory agencies. Its rules are unclear, which impede financial dealings. Its authorities must be more approachable and open to new ideas. The government of Singapore should decide if it does want to establish an international currency.

Article Abstract:
Increased advertising revenue and lower newsprint costs have been the causes of a profitable year for several British newspapers. Expected wage increases of ten per cent, without any reduction of employees, however, will return the newspapers to posting annual losses. The profits and losses of several newspapers are examined.

Cyclosporin A is a new drug which controls the rejection of organ transplants. Many more people would offer their organs if programs were readily available. Cost and legal problems are deterrents.
