Optimal investment with lumpy costs
Article Abstract:
An analysis of investment patterns of a firm is presented duly considering factors like uncertainty, irreversibility and lumpy adjustment costs. It is found that changes in adjustment costs makes the firms invest in small quantity. As the firms invest in bigger increments, investment trigger is also increased.

The strong impact of tax changes on corporate finance is empirically studied. The impact of taxation on structures of finance and production that gives a quantitative reassessment of growth and welfare effects of tax reforms in U.S. economy is explored.
