Classroom games: strategic interaction on the Internet
Article Abstract:
The Internet can be used for games, and this is a valuable teaching tool for Economics, allowing interaction between students away from the class room. Students are better able to understand game theory if they can play games and gain direct experience of problems and incentives involved in those games. There are a number of games that can be used in teaching both microeconomics and macroeconomics, and they include pool resource games, and versions of prisoners' dilemma.

Classroom games: voluntary provision of a public good
Article Abstract:
The teaching of economics has often hindered students from achieving basic intuition. Complementing textbook and lecture presentations with classroom exercises can help in making students more active in the pursuit of knowledge. The teaching method can also reduce students' skeptical attitude towards economic theory while increasing their interest in the subject. Some classroom exercises are suggested.
