Article Abstract:
The Asian economic crisis of the late 1990s adversely affected the enrollment rates for Asian students studying in the UK. Asian students left UK programs in mid-year and applications have fallen for many schools. The most reputable schools have not been affected, however. Asian students have also chosen Australian schools over UK and US schools because Australian schools are less expensive.
