Decentralised production organisation and institutional transformation: large and small firm networks in Chile and Nicaragua
Article Abstract:
The contribution of the changing production organization and new governance in the productive upgrading of developing economies is examined by discussing the research conducted in Chile and Nicaragua. It is observed that the key to successful adjustment in the face of liberalization and globalization can be rendered with the help of the learning-by-monitoring approach.

Organisational change, technology, employment and skills: an empirical study of French manufacturing
Article Abstract:
The correlations between technological, organizational and skill change in manufacturing companies are studied and analyzed. The relationships between these changes and the employment behavior of the firms show a positive correlation.
