Discrete choice models and valuation experiments
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to examine the relevancy of choice experiment techniques as a tool aimed at measuring economic values and assessing user preferences concerning the multi-attribute and multi-value services a supplied by cultural institutions. The findings indicate that choice experiments are practical and effective tool for non-market valuation and can be used to provide information to decision makers for justifying demand led policies.

Empirical model for examination of government policy pertaining to subsidization of charitable donations through reduction of income tax burden, for ascertaining effects of such tax refund policies on social welfare,is presented.
