Do equity financing cycles matter? Evidence from biotechnology alliances
Article Abstract:
The small biotechnology firms appear to be more likely to fund Research and Development through alliances with major corporations rather than with funds raised through the capital market. The agreements signed during periods of limited external equity financing are less successful than other alliances.
