Earnings management, stock issues, and shareholder lawsuits
Article Abstract:
The stock offers and the firms whose offers subsequently attract lawsuits have unusually high abnormal accounting accruals. Abnormal accruals around the offer are positively related to the lawsuits involving stock offers and settlement amounts, and are negatively related to post-offer stock returns.

Limited arbitrage and short sales restrictions: evidence from the options markets
Article Abstract:
The two necessary conditions for behavioral finance that explains financial asset prices are examined. The empirical results of the analysis on put-call parity no-arbitrage relation in the options market in the context of short sales restrictions are presented.
